Fireworks

It is not even 6 pm yet, and the fireworks are going on around us, so loud sounds like we are in a war zone. Our cats, hiding under the bed, and the dog sits frightened and shaking on the sofa next to me. I can't put in words how much I HATE fireworks and what it does to animals and the environment. I don't even understand the purpose of fireworks. It is loud, it stinks, and it is dangerous on so many levels. It should be forbidden!
