Row 1: K1, *cross 2 R (Cr2R), k4, rep from * to last 3 sts, end Cr2R, kl.
Row 2 and all even numbered rows: K1, purl to last st, k 1.
Row 3: K2, *cross 2 L (Cr2L), k2, Cr2R, rep from * to last 2 sts, end k2.
Row 5: K3, *Cr2L, Cr2R, k2, rep from * to last st, end kl.
Row 7: K3, *kl, Cr2R, k3, rep from * to last st, end kl.
Row 9: K3, *Cr2R, Cr2L, k2, rep from * to last st, end kl.

Cross Two Stitches Left (Cr2L): With right needle behind the left needle, skip next stitch on left needle, knit the second stitch through the back loop, then knit the skipped stitch in the front loop, slip both stitches from the left needle.
Cross Two Stitches Right (Cr2R): Skip the next stitch on left needle, knit the second stitch in front of skipped stitch, then knit the skipped stitch, slip both stitches from left needle.
