There are so many options when it comes to knitting for a little one. However, if you're looking for something quick and easy for a little boy, a jacket is a great choice. Not only is it practical, but it can also be worn every day.
Recently, I was asked to knit something for my friend's little grandson. As I rummaged through my stash of yarns, I stumbled upon some leftover Patons North America Classic Wool Worsted in the colorway cognac heather, as well as some variegated Kroy Sock yarn in the colorway jacquards, also from Patons. With these materials in hand, I set out to knit a jacket for the little one.The basic pattern for the jacket is as simple as it sounds. It consists of two front and two sleeve pieces, a back piece, and a button border on both front pieces and around the neck. This pattern knits up fast and the end result looks great.
