My Knitting Journey: The Joy of Creating Socks

I’m excited to share that I’ve completed one of the socks I worked on last week!
I chose Opal Sock yarn for this pair, which I had in my stash. The blue variegated yarn brings colors and a soft texture to the project.  I love how the colors come together to create this beautiful pattern.
I don’t like that the white ribbon I added to the sock is too tied. I should have used larger needles. But it adds a nice touch, I feel it could be a little looser. These little details can make a big difference to the final product.
As I knit the second sock, I keep my fingers crossed that the right sock turns out size-wise like the left sock.
I read on FB that knitting socks can be addictive. I am still waiting for this addictive feeling while knitting the second sock.
I look forward to sharing more of my knitting and sock-knitting adventures with you all!

Happy knitting!

  1. Also, ich bin infiziert!
