Socks My Way

I promised to knit a pair of socks for a dear friend. The thought of creating something unique and special for them was my driving force. I had a particular way of knitting them in mind and was looking for inspiration in my knitting library. I found more than a dozen sock knitting books, and at the end, I combined a YouTube video that demonstrated a unique sock-knitting technique with instructions from one of the books, which had a variety of classic sock patterns.  The pattern I used called for two straight needles and was a relatively simple method. I used an 80cm round needle and knitted both socks on the same needle simultaneously. Yarn used: SIRDAR click double knitting with wool in the color shade 0134
