Fingeless Gloves
What do you plan to create with a basket full of leftover yarn? I pondered this while walking Little Lu, keeping my hands in my pockets to ward off the chilly morning air. Once home, I spotted the scrap yarn from Chicken #3 and thought it might be just the right amount to knit a pair of fingerless gloves quickly. They’re incredibly simple to knit with only two needles and one seam. I opted for a k1, p1 ribbing using size 7 needles for 15 rows, then switched to size 8 needles and worked 21 rows in stockinette. After that, I returned to size 7 for six additional rows in k1, p1 ribbing and bound off on row 6. Finally, stitch the seams together, ensuring there's enough space for your thumb to move comfortably. And don't forget, you’ll need to make two of them!
